1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JoesTechs ("Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date registration information.
• One person may not maintain more than one free account.
• You may not share your account credentials with others.

3. Courses and Content

Course content is provided for personal, non-commercial educational use only. Unless otherwise stated, all content is owned by JoesTechs or its instructors and is protected by copyright.

• You may not redistribute, resell, or share course content.
• You may not record or screenshot video lessons for redistribution.
• Downloaded resources are licensed for personal use only.
• Certificates issued by the Platform are non-transferable and verifiable online.

4. Payments and Refunds

• Prices are listed inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.
• Payments are processed securely via PayPal.
• Refund policy: You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase provided you have completed less than 30% of the course.
• Subscription charges are non-refundable once the billing period begins.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Instructor Terms

Instructors who publish courses on the Platform agree to additional terms provided during the instructor onboarding process. Key points:

• Instructors retain ownership of their content but grant us a licence to host and distribute it.
• Instructors receive a revenue share as per the current payout schedule.
• Content must be original, accurate, and comply with our Content Standards.
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates our policies without notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or unlawful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or instructors.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or download content.
• Engage in academic dishonesty (e.g., falsely claiming certificates).
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

The JoesTechs name, logo, and all platform software are the intellectual property of JoesTechs and may not be used without prior written consent. Course content belongs to the respective instructors as outlined in their agreements.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that course content will lead to specific employment outcomes. Certificates attest to course completion, not professional qualification, unless otherwise stated.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JoesTechs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without notice or refund. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give you at least 14 days' notice before any material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
